And now are you facing the legalization process to drive in Portugal? We know this stage can seem like a bureaucratic maze, including inspections, paying taxes (like ISV and IUC), and obtaining Portuguese license plates.

We handle all documentation and necessary procedures with the competent authorities, ensuring that your car is fully legalized quickly and efficiently, so you can enjoy your new acquisition without worries and as soon as possible.
Our legalization service costs 450€, including IMT and IRN fees. To this
amount, you must add the ISV, which you can simulate here
. In addition, you'll have to pay for Inspection B (91.48€) when doing
the inspection for plate assignment. You will also need a simple signature
recognition, which shouldn't cost more than 20€ and can be done at a notary or lawyer.
Until recently, we could confidently assure that a well-organized process
carried out by an experienced person could be completed in 48 hours. Even less.
Unfortunately, today it is very difficult to give a firm estimate, not due
to issues attributable to us, but because of delays in IMT processes. Our
commitment is to start processes submitted before 12:00 PM on the same day,
and those submitted after 12:00 PM by 12:00 PM the following day. We keep you
informed throughout the process via email, SMS, and telephone.
- Invoice (or declaration of sale if purchased from a private seller).
- COC (you can acquire it here, faster, or from the manufacturer).
- Waybill/CMR if the vehicle was transported by a professional carrier.
- Proof of Insurance if you drove the vehicle.
- Proof of inspection for plate assignment. We handle the inspection if you hire the Turnkey solution.
- IMT MOD 112.
